Skycharge Showcase at the EIT UAM Plazza Accelerator Demo Day in Toulouse

On December 4th and 5th, the B612 Innovation Center in Toulouse, the iconic capital of aeronautics and the European space industry, was abuzz with innovation and excitement as UAM PLAZZA Accelerator Demo Day unfolded to a full house.

Raül Feliu Pèlach from EIT Urban Mobility, along with consortium partners Toulouse Métropole, CARNET, Aerospace Valley, and Ferrovial, gathered with investors and guests to witness the unveiling of a selected pool of innovative enabling technologies. Among the standout presentations was that of Andrea Puiatti representing Skycharge, and the nine other startups selected for the 2023 UAM Plazza cohort.

Skycharge took the stage showcasing some unique drone charging applications with leading players across the inspection, surveillance, logistics, and mobility markets. Overall, the event provided a platform for the startups to highlight their potential contributions to the evolving landscape of commercial drone and urban air mobility industries.

Gratitude was expressed to EIT Urban Mobility, Toulouse Métropole, Aerospace Valley, CARNET, and Ferrovial for their instrumental roles in identifying synergies that resulted in strategic partnerships set to deliver on a unique project that will be developed as part of the post-acceleration phase.
